Program Rules

To earn rewards for referrals, you need to sign up for Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend program. First, all you need to provide is a valid email address, your name, and to accept the program Terms & Conditions. Then come back and update your profile with your Virgin Mobile phone number to be eligible for rewards.

If you're planning to become a Virgin Mobile customer because your friend told you about us, make sure you sign up for Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend program and tell us your new mobile phone number when you get it.
 

Here are the basic rules:

Rules for Referrers

  • You must be an active Virgin Mobile or payLo subscriber on a monthly plan in good standing to earn rewards for your referrals. Virgin Mobile Data Share plans are not eligible.
  • You need to sign up for the Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend Program by submitting your email address (this will also be your user ID), your name, your Virgin Mobile phone number, and accepting the Terms & Conditions of the program.
  • You cannot refer yourself.
  • You can refer up to a maximum of 20 new customers per calendar year. After January 1styour maximum number of referrals starts over and you can begin referring new customers, up to 12 a calendar year and cannot exceed $500 per calendar year.
  • Each referral credit will be applied to your account within 4 weeks after your referee successfully activates and replenishes their Virgin Mobile account.

Rules for Referees

  • Unlock your Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend offer with your email address (this will also be your user ID) and accept the program Terms & Conditions. You have 90 days from when you receive your referral to unlock your offer and activate a new Virgin Mobile plan or the referral will expire.
  • Each referee must activate a new Virgin Mobile Monthly Plan or payLo Monthly Plan. Virgin Mobile Data Share plans are not eligible.
  • Once you unlock your offer and register for the Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend program, you have 30 days to activate a qualifying service and pay your first bill in order to be eligible to receive your credit.
  • Come back the Virgin Mobile Refer a friend Program and tell us your new Virgin Mobile phone number within 30 days of activating your Virgin Mobile plan. This is so we can verify your new Virgin Mobile account and apply the account credit.
  • You cannot refer yourself.
  • Please allow up to 4 weeks after your referral is approved for the account credit to be applied. When the account credit is applied we will send you a notification.

$25 Account Credit will be issued to referring customers who are on a Virgin Mobile monthly plan or a payLo monthly plan and in current status at the time the new customer establishes their Virgin Mobile or payLo account. Virgin Mobile Data Share plans are not eligible. Limited to $500 per calendar year. Limited time offer.
