Program Rules

To earn rewards for referrals, you need to sign up for Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend program. To sign up, you need to provide a valid email address, your name, and accept the program Terms & Conditions. Then come back and update your profile with your Virgin Mobile phone number to be eligible for rewards.

If your friend told you about us and you're planning to become a Virgin Mobile customer, you can still sign up for the Virgin Mobile Referral Program, but make sure you tell us what your new Virgin mobile wireless phone number is when you get it.
 

Here are the basic rules:

Rules for Referrers

  • All referrals must be completed no later than 4pm (PST) 09/23/2016
  • You must be an active Virgin Mobile Unlimited subscriber on a valid monthly plan in good standing to earn rewards for your referrals. Virgin Mobile Data Share plans are not eligible.
  • You need to sign up for the Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend Program by submitting your email address (this will also be your user ID), your name, your Virgin Mobile phone number, and accepting the Terms & Conditions of the program.
  • You cannot refer yourself.
  • You cannot exceed $500 in rewards per calendar year.
  • Each referral credit will be applied to your account within 4 weeks after your referee successfully activates and replenishes their Virgin Mobile account.
  • If further action is required for reward issuance, members must successfully complete the additional action within 30 days from the initial notification of request for further action to earn the reward otherwise the member will forfeit the pending reward.
  • NOTE: Not all Virgin Mobile plans and accounts are eligible to participate in the Virgin Mobile Referral Program. Please see the Terms & Conditions for more details, including excluded plans and the complete program rules.

Rules for Referees

  • You cannot refer yourself.
  • Unlock your Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend offer with your email address (this will also be your user ID) and accept the program Terms & Conditions. You have 90 days from when you receive your referral to unlock your offer and activate a new Virgin Mobile plan or the referral will expire.
  • Once you unlock your offer and register for the Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend program, you have 30 days to activate a qualifying service and pay your first bill in order to be eligible to receive your credit.
  • If further action is required for reward issuance, members must successfully complete the additional action within 30 days from the initial notification of the request for further action, otherwise the member forfeits the pending reward.
  • Each referee must activate a new Virgin Mobile Monthly Plan. Virgin Mobile Data Done Right plans, PayLo, Broadband and Assurance Wireless are not eligible for the Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend program.
  • Please allow up to 4 weeks after your referral is approved for the account credit to be applied. When the account credit is applied we will send you a notification.

$25 Account Credit will be issued to referring customers who are on a Virgin Mobile Unlimited monthly plan and in current status at the time the new customer establishes their Virgin Mobile Unlimited account.
