I Referred a Friend

Which Virgin Mobile USA subscribers can refer friends?

To refer friends and earn rewards, you must be an active Virgin Mobile account holder enrolled in an eligible monthly plan. We regret that Inner Circle customers, other customers with iOS handsets, payLo by Virgin Mobile customers, and Broadband2Go customers among others are not eligible to earn rewards. I'm on Virgin Mobile with an Android handset enrolled in an eligible monthly plan. How do I refer my friends?

To earn rewards for referrals, you need to sign up for the Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend Program. This is different from your My Account login. You'll need to provide a valid email address, your full name, your Virgin Mobile phone number and accept the program Terms & Conditions.


What is the referral reward for Referrers?

For every friend you refer who activates on Virgin Mobile, you'll receive a $25 account credit. You can earn up to $500 per calendar year.


My referral was approved. Where is my reward?

After a successful referral, the reward can take up to 30 days to be applied to your account.


What if my referral was denied?

Referrals may be denied for various reasons. See Programs Terms and Conditions for details.


The person you have referred is an existing Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend participant

The person who was referred (the referee) must be a first-time registrant of the Refer a Friend program and must register to the Refer a Friend Program within 30 days of their Virgin Mobile account activation and enrollment in an eligible monthly plan.


Invalid Phone Number

The phone number entered on the referrer's or referee's Referral Program account has been deemed to be an invalid Virgin Mobile phone number. Please log in to your Referral Program account at refer.virginmobileusa.com and make sure that the number you've entered is correct.


My friend has already activated their Virgin Mobile account. Can I still refer this friend?

If your friend activated their Virgin Mobile account less than 30 days ago, they can register at refer.virginmobileusa.com to become eligible for the reward by clicking on the “My Friend Referred Me” button and then selecting “Find My Friend." They'll need to provide either your Virgin Mobile phone number or your email address.

Once your friend has registered, please allow up to 30 days to receive confirmation that your referral was successful.

How do I claim my referee reward?

In order to be recognized as a valid referee and be eligible to earn a reward, your friend will need to log in to their Virgin Mobile Refer a Friend Program account at refer.virginmobileusa.com and refer you via email or by sending you their personal referral link.

You’ll then need to activate a new account on an eligible monthly Virgin Mobile plan. See Program Terms and Conditions for details.


Which Virgin Mobile new activations can receive a referee reward?

You must activate a new Virgin Mobile account on an eligible monthly plan. See Program Terms and Conditions for details.


What is the referral reward for Referees?

If you’ve claimed your reward and activated a new Virgin Mobile account on an eligible monthly plan, you’ll receive a $25 account credit. This account credit will be added to your account automatically.


How soon will my referee reward be applied?

Please allow up to 30 days for your $25 account credit to be applied to your account.


What if my referral is still verifying?

Please allow up to 30 days from your activation date for us to verify the activation of your new Virgin Mobile service and your account in our system. Once the activation is verified, you will be notified by email if you qualify for a reward.

What if I forgot my password / I need to reset my password / I'm getting a password not created message?

Forgot My Password

To recover your password, click “Login” (located in the top, upper right corner of the page), click “Forgot your password?”, enter the email address you used to sign up for the Referral Program and click “Go.” If you've forgotten which email address you've registered with, then please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.


Password Not Created

If you've never created a password before, click the “Refer Now!” button. Enter your information (first and last name and your email address) and create a password of your choosing.

If that doesn’t work, you may have originally registered your profile using Facebook Connect or Google. In that case, you’ll need to ensure the device you're using is connected to your Facebook account or Google account, and then select “Log in with Facebook” or “Log in with Google” on the Referral Program website.


The website says my phone number already exists in the system. What should I do?

There's an existing Refer a Friend Program account attached to your phone number. Please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page and mention your current active phone number.


What if I entered my information (name, phone number, or email address) incorrectly?

You can edit your profile at any time by logging in to your Refer a Friend Program account at refer.virginmobileusa.com. Once you’re logged in, click Edit Profile. Here you can update your name, email address and Virgin Mobile phone number.
